Well, I wanna tell you that he is my father or something, but he's not. Ah, too bad right. I wrote those words not because of some pathetic sloppy corny reasons. I wrote them because I merely miss him, as a friend. Because he's a really good friend I used to have.

I wish I'll meet someone that'll make me feel the way he made me. Let's us all cross our fingers, then!

Sherlock The Series

Aku baru nonton series Sherlock! And I looooove it!!

I am usually not a fan of this kind of series, you know, series yang ceritanya tentang pembunuhan gini, macem CSI atau Dexter. Dan walaupun udah beberapa kali denger tentang Sherlock, tapi aku masi ga tertarik nonton. Tapiiiii kemaren nonton di Dita dan ternyata baguuuuuuus! Langsung deh ngopi season 1-2 hihihi.

Nahh, aku udah kelar nonton yang season 1 and I can't help to notice some things.

Setting waktunya beda dengan yang di novel dan filmnya, kalo Sherlock series ini mengambil London jaman modern. Dr John Watson diceritakan baru pulang dari perang di Afganishtan, sama kaya di novelnya dan sedang mencari flat murah di London. Kemudian Watson diperkenalkan dengan Holmes yang sedang bekerja di labnya. Ini yang bikin aku langsung tertarik, karena ceritanya mirip dengan yang di novel.

Lalu beberapa tokoh yang crucial, yang selalu ada di novel, film, maupun seriesnya, misalnya Mrs.Hudson dan Inspector Lestrade. Lalu ada Sarah Sawyer yang setauku di novel ga pernah ada yang namanya Sarah Sawyer. Aku taunya istrinya Dr.Watson itu Mary Morstan. Tapi aku sukaaaaaaa bangett sama Sarah Sawyer disini! Cantik, baik hati, dan pemberani! Selain itu ada Mycroft Holmes, saudara laki-lakinya Sherlock Holmes. Aku udah suka banget sama Mycroft dari waktu pertama kali baca The Bruce Partington Plan. Dan aku sih lebih suka Mycroft yang di series yah daripada yang di film hihii.

Lalu musuh bebuyutannya Holmes, Professor James Moriarty juga muncul, tapi kalau di series namanya sedikit berubah jadi Jim Moriarty. Aku lebih suka Moriarty yang di series daripada yang di film, karena yang di series jauh lebih serem. He gave chills to me bone!

Terus ada Dr.John Watson, of course. Sama-sama satu-satunya orang yang dekat dengan Holmes. Sama-sama penulis dan menuliskan petualangannya bersama Holmes. Tapi kalo Dr.Watson versi Jude Law lebih muda dan ganteng, dan juga bisa memarahi Sherlock Holmes kalau terlalu lama mengurung diri di kamarnya. But Martin Freeman also make a hell of a Dr.Watson. Oh ya, kalo di film dan di novel, Holmes dan Dr.Watson saling memanggil surname, tapi kalau di series mereka memakai first name.

Dan yang paling oke, Sherlock Holmes-nya. I think Benedict Cumberbatch portrayed Sherlock Holmes really well. Karena aku pernah nonton yang versi film maka mau ga mau pasting ngebanding-bandingin yaahh hehe. Over all, baik Robert Downey Jr dan Benedict Cumberbatch sama-sama bisa menggambarkan Sherlock Holmes di buku yang a very good violist, eccentric, genius, but untidy, arrogant, narcissist, loner, and his lack of ability to build a relationship with another person. Kalo di Sherlock series, si Sherlock Holmes-nya sering bertindak seenaknya dan lebih ngeselin daripada yang di film maupun di novel, bahkan terhadap Mrs. Hudson. Sedangkan kalau di novel, Holmes diceritakan always acted like a gentleman when it came to deal with women.

Terus mereka juga digambarkan sama-sama punya kebiasaan buruk seperti latihan menembak di dinding rumah, senang melakukan percobaan-percobaan kimia di flat, dan stres jika tidak memiliki kasus untuk dipecahkan. Kalo di series, Holmes memakai nicotine patch untuk mengatasi ketergantungannya pada nikotin, sedangkan kalau di novel, selain sering menggunakan pipa rokok, Holmes digambarkan sebagai pengguna obat-obatan terutama kalo sedang sepi kasus.

Walaupun secara garis besar Sherlock Holmes versi Benedict Cumberbatch dan Robert Downey Jr mirip, tapi aku merasa there's something different between them. Kalau Sherlock Holmes versi Robert Downey Jr adalah versi bad boy-nya sedangkan Benedict Cumberbatch adalah versi yang lebih nerd dan dorky. Daaaaaaann dari awal Holmes muncul di episode pertama Study In Pink, I can't help thinking kalau si Sherlock-nya Benedict Cumberbatch ini mengingatkanku pada seseorang. Guess who? He reminds me of Sheldon Cooper yang di Big Bang Theory!! Hahahahahahaa. Sifatnya yang seenaknya, suka memerintah orang lain, sering ngeselin, ihh bener-bener mirip Sheldon dah hahaha.

Nah sekarang mau lanjut namatin season 2! Yay!!

Six In One

Okay. Random quick updates time.

1. Aku dulu, dulu banget, merasa aman-aman aja nulis apa aja di blog. I thought, elahh, siapa juga yang bakal baca. Lagian aku ngecurhat galaunya juga pake kode-kodean gitu hahah ABG banget dah. tapi ternyata ada aja lho beberapa orang, yang terlanjur tau alamat blogku, yang dengan iseng buka blog ini. Jarang banget sih orang yang tau dan kenal aku yang suka buka-buka blog ini. But still, I have to carefully filter everything I wanna write down on this blog, or even not write it at all for good measure.
So why don't I make this blog private, then? Or make an entirely new blog? No, can't do baby doll. I wanna interact with people. How could I possibly do that if I make this blog private? And I guess I'm just too attached to this blog. Kalo nyoba nulis di blog lain, jadi gabisa keketik gitu maunya aku nulis apa hahahh sugesti kayanya. Oh, well.

2. I read this a few days ago. And I can't help thinking that I don't entirely agree with her. I think that luck plays a part as big as hardwork does in life. Well, if it doesn't, then where do you think the utterance "life is not fair" came from? Luck (or maybe destiny, if you will) defines our life. From the very beginning.
Let me elaborate. Dari mulai kita lahir. Kapan kita lahir, dimana kita lahir, atau bagaimana keadaan kita saat lahir, semuanya berpengaruh besar. Kapan kita lahir itu akan sangat mempengaruhi lho. Perempuan yang dilahirkan sebelum era emansipasi wanita hidupnya akan lebih sengsara daripada wanita yang lahir pasca jaman emansipasi wanita. Orang yang lahir di jaman penjajahan hidupnya akan jauh berbeda dibanding orang yang hidup di jaman modern. Lalu, dimana kita lahir juga akan menentukan. Orang yang lahir di Iraq akan berbeda kehidupannya dengan orang yang lahir di New York. Orang yang lahir di tengah-tengah keluarga berkecukupan, kaya raya mungkin, akan punya hidup yang berbeda dengan orang yang lahir di keluarga miskin. Atau ada juga keluarga broken home, keluarga single parent, dan lain-lain. Dan yang ga kalah penting, bagaimana keadaan kita waktu lahir. Apakah dilahirkan sehat, cacat, membawa gen penyakit, gen kecerdasan, cantik, ganteng, biasa, atau mungkin ga cantik dan ga ganteng. Ini semua akan berpengaruh sangat besar kan.
Apalagi hidup di FKG yaa. Akan sangat terasa banget kalo hidup itu ga cuma ditentukan kerja keras belaka. Bisa aja mulai kliniknya bersamaan, dapet pasien bersamaan, kerjanya juga sama-sama keras, eh tapi lulusnya beda jauh. Bisa karena ternyata pasiennya ga kooperatif, akar giginya bengkok atau buntu, dapet dosen galak daaan macem-macem sebab lainnya.
I'm not saying that hardwork means nothing. Hardwork could change all those bad luck into something good. So maybe the point of all the mess above is that we must keep trying and working our ass off. Maybe. Well, I'm still 23. What do I know, rite?
Ampun, aku ngelantur nih. Jadi curhat malah hahhaaha.

3. Okay I know that I put Midnight's Children as the book I'm currently reading on Goodreads. And I am reading it. At least I'm trying to read it hahahah. It's not like the book is boring, but I'm just not in the mood. Bukunya so far sih menarik, tapi aku lagi pingin baca-baca yang ringan aja. Ringan disini maksudnya buku yang udah pernah aku baca, so I'd know what to expect and on what page the good parts are.

4. Aku masih belom pernah buka web gosip apapun semenjak skandal K.Stew kemaren. Ada yang bilang di premiere-nya Breaking Dawn Part 2 nanti Robert, Kristen, dan Taylor gaakan hadir. Ada yang bilang kalo akan tetep hadir. Ada yang bilang udah balikan, but I don't buy it. Well, the good side is I'm not really that sad anymore.

5. Hari ini aku tour de mall dehh. Berturut-turut Galaxy Mall - Tunjungan Plaza - Grand City. How could I possibly go into three different malls in one day? Well, leave it to Della. She's hunting shoes for her royal engagement and she dragged me with her hahahaha. It was fun, though.

6. Aku tadinya mau beli kacamata atau dompet. Atau dua-duanya hahah. Tapiiiii kemudian aku inget kalau buku barunya JK Rowling, The Casual Vacancy, akan terbit September ini! And it suddenly hit me how precious first editions can be! Aku aja kalo bisa, mau banget kok beli first edition-nya Harry Potter dari 1-7. Langsung lupa kalo mau beli dompet dan kacamata.
Tadi waktu di Grand City sekalian ngecek Gramedia buat pre order. Tapi mbak customer service-nya kurang bisa diandalkan jadinya ga jadi pre order. Nyampe kosan langsung browsing nyari tau bisa pre order dimana aja. Ternyata di Gramedia sebenernya bisa, tapi pre order buat yang versi hard cover harganya Rp345.900 aja doooong (harga normalnya Rp406.000). God, I've never been buy a book that expensive. Sementara di Amazon cuman $20,9. Ihh kan males mau mesen di Gramedia! Aku cek Periplus ternyata bisa pre order juga, tapi di website-nya ga mencantumkan harga. Ga hilang akal, aku telpon Inca yang lagi di GM, minta tolong tanyain ke Periplus. Ehh, ternyata di Periplus pre order hard cover-nya Rp300.000 saja, sodara-sodara! Langsung titip pre order ke Inca! Horeeeeeeeeeeeyyy! Ceneeeeng hihihihi.

Bisa-bisa Midnight's Children akan semakin ditinggal nih hahahah.

The Bourne Legacy

Guess whaaat, aku baru dari nonton The Bourne Legacy!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaakkk. Dari pagi waktu diklinik cerita kalo aku mau nonton The Bourne Legacy, orang-orang kompakan pada bilang, "Ih jelek itu, Non, filmnya. mending nonton yang lain aja." Gitu. Berhubung aku suka banget-bangetan sama trilogi  Bourne sebelomnya (favorit sih yang The Bourne Supremacy, of course hihi), dan aku juga gandrung banget sama si ganteng Jeremy Renner, ya maju tak gentar dong yahh. Teteplah berangkat nonton! Huh hahh!! Tapi dalem hati udah setting expectation low, biar ga kuciwa-kuciwa amat kalo ternyata emang beneran jelek filmnya. Yah, itung-itung cuci mata liat si ganteng hihii.

Film dimulai dengan tiga setting tempat yang berbeda. Pertama di markas CIA dimana para petingginya memutuskan untuk men-terminate program Outcome, kedua di Alaska dimana Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) sedang melakukan training sebagai kewajibannya menjadi anggota Outcome, ketiga di lab biokimia dimana Dr. Marta Shearing (Rachel Weisz) menjalankan penelitiannya.

Kurang lebih pada tiga puluh menit pertama film ini masih susah dimengerti. Mungkin akan ada banyak pertanyaan seperti siapa Jason Bourne, apa itu Treadstone atau Blackbriar, siapa Pamela Landy, ini ada apa kok orang-orang itu nyemilin pil biru-ijo, pil biru-ijo itu apaan sihh, dan macem-macem lainnya. Terutama buat orang yang belom pernah nonton trilogi Bourne sebelumnya, dijamin bingung. Aku aja yang udah lama ga nonton ulang, jadi agak lupa akhirannya Bourne Ultimatum dulu gimana.

Tapi begitu mulai dijelaskan apa sebenarnya pil biru-ijo tersebut, filmnya mulai bisa dinikmati. The Bourne Legacy menurutku masih sangat membawa ciri khas seperti trilogi sebelumnya, yaitu dimana agen pemerintah yang mengembangkan suatu program khusus yang diharapkan menjadi senjata baru, tapi malah program tersebut get out of control and force them to terminate it.

Aaron Cross, seperti Jason Bourne, merupakan anggota program rahasia CIA yang dianggap bahwa keberadaan mereka berbahaya dan akhirnya mereka malah diburu oleh CIA itu sendiri. Mereka sama-sama diburu dengan tracking devices masa kini milik CIA. Mereka juga sama-sama cerdik, jago dalam hand-to-hand combat (ahh, aku paling suka sama adegan perkelahian tangan kosong, kereeeen gilaaakk!), dan mampu meloloskan diri dari CIA biarpun dengan peralatan seadanya (kalo dibandingin sama James Bond). Kalau Jason itu versi cool-nya agen pembelot, mungkin Aaron ini versi badungnya yah hahaa.

Dinilai dari segi action-nya, The Bourne Legacy ini sih oke punyaaa! Banyak adegan berantem Jeremy Renner yang bak-buk-bak-buk hap hap hap ehh musuhnya udah pada tergeletak semua gituuu! Kereeen abiiss! Udah gitu doi ganteng banget kaaaann. Matanya biru gelap, badannya lean but not bulky, tangkas, cerdas, jago berantem. Aduuhh mamaaaaa, ga kuaaattt pokoknya! Ide ceritanya juga cukup menarik walaupun kalau menurutku harusnya ga perlu dibuat se-membingungkan itu di awal film.

Mungkin yang kurang cuma emosionalnya yah. Gaada adegan yang bikin trenyuh dan ikutan sedih. Apa? Ini kan film action bukan film drama? Eits, jangan salah. Film itu gaakan berarti kalau ga mampu memanipulasi emosi penonton. Kalo dibanding sama trilogi Bourne sebelumnya, terutama The Bourne Supremacy favoritku, sih masih kalah jauh yaa. Pas nonton The Bourne Supremacy aku bisa ikut terhanyut merasakan perasaannya Jason, his confusion and fear about his gory past, his anger and guilt because the murder of his girlfriend Marie, and also his great remorse for the people he killed. Itu sumpah mengena banget emosinya. Aku bahkan sempet nangis waktu nonton hahahah of course.

Tapi aku puas banget sama The Bourne Legacy!! Aku kasi bintang empat! Aaaaaaaaaa jadi kangen pingin nonton film Bourne sebelumnya nihh hihii.

Veronica Roth: Insurgent

Okay. So I've just finished reading Insurgent like an hour ago. I want to write a fresh review, you know, right after I finished reading the book.

1. The Factions
Insurgent picked up exactly where Divergent left off. That's a little unusual than the book series I'd read. There's usually a time gap between the current book with its predecessor. And there's no recap about the previous story. So if you read Divergent the year before, then you're screwed hahahh.

I previously stated that I found the faction system is impossible. It's difficult to believe that there's even a chance for that kind of world to exist. You can't just divide the world's population into five categories and force people to fit into it. The faction system feels primitive to me. It might've been more believable if the time setting is in the past, you know, like when racism was still the ideology of the month.

Roth is obviously trying to rationalize and sell us the faction system but it's a really hard concept to sell. Believability is really important here because if you don't believe that the existence of this faction system is possible, then you'll be having a hard time to understand the story and sympathize with the character and the conflicts they're dealing with.

But maybe you'll get it over with and just swallow the story. Like I did, haha.

2. The Plot
If Divergent is felt more like Sky High, Insurgent is felt more like Mockingjay. I think. It mostly about Tris and Tobias traveled to another factions looking for allies, there's sometimes gun fights or some other war stuffs.

And Roth is also clearly trying to explore the depth of the relationship between Tris and Tobias. I don't know why but I don't think she succeeded because their relationship still doesn't rub off on me. I still feel plain. I don't see sparks flying when I read the romance part about them.

And the plot itself is confusing. It's intricate and there are lot of new characters you've gotta keep track and you're not sure which one to trust. And also there's this super top secret about what actually is there outside the fence. It's not the type of plot that would arouse your curiosity. It's the kind of plot that confuses you and makes you wanna scream," just tell me what the f is all that about!"

And the top secret Marcus's been holding from everyone all the time and he insisted on showing it rather than just telling it? Ugh I think the secret is kept that long just to make the readers keep on reading until the last page. And why would Marcus took all the trouble to show that secret when he could've just told it already?

3. The Super Secret
Okay I know this review is full of spoilers but this one I'm about to spill is kinda huge, so if you stumbled on this review but actually you still wanna read the book, maybe you should stop right here.

Oh. So you're staying. Have it your way, then. So the point of the faction system is somehow to purify the humanity because the world outside the fence is full of chaotic and destruction. I'm not really sure how that's gonna work. And when suddenly the acknowledgement rolled down I was like, "What the hell? You gotta be kidding me! Wait, really? Is that it?? God unbelievable!" Yeah. True story.

If someone asks me whether or not I'm gonna read the next book, well I'm gonna say yes. Because I've already come this far and I clearly have no choice but just to keep going! The third book will be released on the Fall 2013. Still there's much time the get over this disappointment!

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Another reading mission is accomplished! Well, after I put aside my skeptical instinct. Sebenarnya udah selesai baca dari lama, tapi baru pingin nulis sekarang deh. Divergent by Veronica Roth.

Here is why my skeptical instinct was on on mode when I was reading this book. The world is divided into five factions which each represents a virtue they must value. Abnegation (selfless), Candor (honesty), Amity (peace), Erudite (knowledge), and Dauntless (courage). And every member of the factions can't communicate or socialize with another faction's member. They're not even allowed to get too attached to their family if their own family comes from a different faction. Because their motto is Faction Before Blood. And the fact that Abnegation is only allowed to look at the mirror every three months. Or that Abnegation also discourage anything strictly for own-enjoyment. There are still a bunch of bullshits. And all those bullshits are ridiculous!

Tapi setelah bertahan baca sampe tengah, ternyata Divergent ini juga bercerita tentang pemberontakan terhadap sistem pemerintahan yang ga sehat ini. Yang membuat Divergent jadi mirip dan dibanding-bandingkan dengan The Hunger Games. Nah mari sekarang aku bandingkan hahaha.

1. Tema ceritanya mirip. Setting waktunya di masa depan dengan suatu sistem yang berbeda dengan kehidupan masa sekarang. Kalau di Divergent hampir semua tokohnya remaja. Hampir semua tokohnya masih teenager gitu. Padahal kan aneh kalau cuma ada remaja doang. Cuman orangtua Tris dan Four yang jelas-jelas orang dewasa di buku ini. Beda dengan The Hunger Games yang tokoh remajanya adalah tributes peserta Hunger Games itu sendiri. Hal ini membuat The Hunger Games terasa lebih real dibandingkan Divergent. Kalau Divergent itu mengingatkanku sama film Sky High, yang mana so high school.  Terus kalau The Hunger Games ada background story-nya bagaimana sejarah dimulainya Hunger Games itu. Sedangkan kalau Divergent kurang dijelaskan sejarah awal mula pembagian populasi berdasarkan factions itu tadi. Ini lagi-lagi membuat cerita Divergent terasa lemah.

2. Tokoh utamanya, Beatrice "Tris" Prior. Aku pribadi sih jauh lebih ngefans sama Katniss Everdeen yahh daripada sama Tris. Katniss ini bagaikan born to be a hero. Dia dari kecil berjuang menghidupi keluarganya. Katniss itu kuat, tegar dan penyayang. Kalau dibandingkan sama Katniss, Tris jadi terlihat seperti remaja galau masa kini gitu. Tris meninggalkan keluarganya untuk pindah ke faction yang dia inginkan. Tris (dan Dauntless lainnya) sering melakukan aksi-aksi yang membahayakan nyawa hanya untuk membuktikan kalau mereka memang pemberani. That is ridiculous. Because I agree with Four, there is a fine line between bravery and idiocy. Berani melakukan aksi-aksi berbahaya bukan berarti pemberani kan. Karena mengakui kelemahan dan kekurangan itu menurutku juga pemberani. Mengakui kesalahan dan minta maaf juga pemberani. And just like Four said, a brave man acknowledges the strength of others.
Sedangkan kalau Katniss, dia melakukan hal-hal berbahaya karena terpaksa untuk mempertahankan diri dan juga melindungi Peeta. Yah intinya menurutku sih si Tris ini masih ingusan banget lah kalau dibanding Katniss hihi.

3. The romance. Disini kan Tris jatuh hati sama Four, seorang initiation instructor. Yahh, kaya anak kelas satu SMA yang suka sama kakak kelasnya yang kapten basket gitu dehh. Nah, ini yang membuat hubungan Tris dan Four terasa lemah. Hubungan mereka berdua menurutku kurang banget dieksplor jadi terasa datar. Adegan romance-nya juga biasa aja, nothing special. Beda banget kalau dibanding sama Peeta dan Katniss yang bisa bikin orang berseru aawwwww. Gituuu hahaha. Aku aja tiap kali baca ulang trilogi The Hunger Games selalu suka baca bagian romance Peeta sama Katniss, itu aww moments banget dehh hihii.

Tiga hal itu aja sik yang mau aku bandingin. Yang lainnya males ahhh hahahahahaa. Yah intinya kalau menurutku baca Divergent itu bagaikan baca teenlit kalau dibandingkan dengan The Hunger Games. Nah sekarang lagi siap-siap baca lanjutan bukunya, yaitu Insurgent! Yeahhh.

The Catcher In The Rye

I finally finished reading The Catcher In The Rye!! God that book such a royal pain in the ass, hahaah!

Okay. I gotta admit that I didn't actually reading that book, to tell the truth I was more like skimming it (half skimming, half reading actually). What can I say? Ugh it bored me to death I couldn't stand to read its every line. Many reviews said that The Catcher In The Rye is about teenage rebellion. And naturally I was expecting some kind of adventurous gangster conflicts. Nuh-uh, not even close. I shouldn't have expected that.

The Catcher In The Rye mostly consists of Holden Caulfield internal chatter. Or his inane conversations with people he met. Holden Caulfield is a pessimistic, skeptical, cynical teenage boy, who always perceives the worst of everything surrounds him. The most unbearable part about this book is Holden's internal chatters when he complained and whined just about eeeeeverything. Which is like all the time. And which is almost the whole book. The one thing I like the most is Holden's sister, Phoebe.

And I was wondering, geez what's with all the fuss about this book?? Some say because it's a very inspiring book but maybe its popularity is partly because this book was read by some well-known murderers, like Mark Chapman. However, I don't really see why reading this book would urge you to kill someone but oh, what do I know.

Ah, nuff said about Holden. Now it's me time! I'm going to Jakarta this Thursday! Well, it's not like it's my first time going to the capital but it's going to be my first time flying on a plane! Hihihii I'm such a dorky girl from a small town. Wait! That's what I am! Hihihihi. That's okaay. There'll always be a first time for everything, riiite?

My Haruki Murakami 2nd Encounter: Norwegian Wood

I was starting to read The Catcher In The Rye when I suddenly didn't feel like it. It's maybe the font, I don't know, the first few lines just wasn't appealing to me. So, out of nowhere I decided to change tack and read Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood instead. I wasn't sure if it's a good idea because I really had it enough with twisted endings, but I took the risk and read it anyway.

To my surprise, I quite enjoyed it. I obiviously like it much more than The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. I'm not sure if it's the book or it's me getting used to Murakami's style. The story is not as bizzare as The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle though the issue Norwegian Wood brings is a lot more gloomy. The story is rooted to suicidal. Uggh that's clearly not my most favorite topic in the whole world. As much as I never like sad-grim-gloomy-depressing story, it fascinated me so much I couldn't help but to keep turning the pages until the very last one.

How come a happy-ending-fairytales number one fan like me ended up liking such story? Well, maybe because its love story. Or maybe Murakami is really starting to get to me. Either way, it doesn't matter.

I like Toru Watanabe, I like his quite-stolid self, the way he talks, his point of view. But I don't like the troubled-depresssing-complicated Naoko. For the love of God, she's just so complex. On the contrary, I really like the blunt and lively Midori Kobayashi. She's like a gulp of fresh air, a cheering spark in this very grim story. I even laughed a few times reading her conversations with Toru. And trust me, laughing while reading Murakami's book is a rarity.

I was beginning to really like this book but then I reminded myself that this is Murakami after all. I have to prepare myself for the most twisted-puzzling ending. And it was the right decision. Ah, it's really too bad because it could've been a really beautiful story if only it ended a lil differently.

Anyway, Norwegian Wood did mention about The Catcher In The Rye once, so my interest in reading that book is somehow coming back. You just wait for me, Holden Caulfield!

Hormones To Blame

Geez, I was such a melodramatic queen in my last post hahahh. Well, blame the pre menstrual syndrome hormones hahahaa!

I'm in a better mood now. I am not saying that I eventually get over that bloody scandal. Yet. Like I said, it changes the way I feel about them.

For example, I was all excited and planning to make a custom made t-shirt for Breaking Dawn part II. You know, t-shirt yang ada gambar muka yayang Robert gitu dehh haha tapi ga deng, tulisan doang deh. Soalnya kalo foto muka nanti gaada yang mau nemenin aku nonton kalo aku pake kaus kaya begitu hihihii. But now I'm not sure if I wanna watch the movie at all.

And I usually check on E!News and PopSugar all the time but now I don't. And I have to hide my New Moon and Eclipse movie guide because I can't even look at them in the eyes.

I don't wanna judge miss KS but you know what? People always judge. So do I. But I'm not gonna say anything about her. What do I know? I've never been in her expensive shoe.

But yes I have a few words for Robert. Robert baby, you know if you need a shoulder to cry on, mine is all yours.

When I'm No Longer A Twihard

I know maybe most people would think this is silly, stupid even, but I'm reaaaaally sad over the Robsten scandal. Broken hearted. Miserable. Devastated.

When I love something, I'd love it whole-heartedly. And when those things I love don't go the way I want them to be, I'll be (overreactingly) sad. Like when the movies/series I love don't end happily (I once got a really bad mood, feeling miserable almost the whole week when Sirius Black died). Or when the team I support lost in a match. Silly things like that.

I don't expect people to understand. And if you don't understand how I feel, the best you can do is shut the f up.

Robert Pattinson To The Rescue

Moodku lagi ga bagus, jadi aku mau ngoceh. You know, just cut myself some slack.

1. Udah selesai baca trilogi Fifty Shades of Grey. Bahkan udah re-reading hahah. Ceritanya pure drama. Ga kebayang kalo nanti adaptasi filmnya akan jadi tiga film juga. Film yang sekuelnya gitu kan biasanya film action.

Daaann Fifty Shades of Grey is such a bad influence! Di situ tuh banyak banget terlontar swearing words, dan paling sering adalah buck (hurufnya b-nya silakan diganti f hahah). Nahh, kan aku jadi ketularan! Tiap kali ada aku ga sengaja kejeduk, ada barang yang ketinggalan, ada kejadian yang ngeselin, refleksku langsung ngomong: buck! Gituuu ihhh salahin Christian Grey! Walaupun somehow Christian Grey bisa membuat buck menjadi suatu kata yang hot dan sexy. Oh, well.

2. Dulu setelah aku tamat The Hunger Games, aku sempet baca novel dystopian yang direkomendasikan buat penggemar The Hunger Games, yaitu Divergent karangan Veronica Roth. Ini biar dikata reviewnya bagus-bagus (aku belom nemu yang bilang Divergent jelek), tapi aku bilang Divergent itu dead boring lhoooo hahahaa. Aku bahkan ga sanggup baca sampe abis saking bosennya. Biasanya sebosen-bosennya aku sama suatu buku, paling ga biasanya akan aku skimming biar tau endingnya gimana. Tapi ini aku bahkan mau nge-skimming pun ga tertarik hahahh.

Bukan karena tanpa alasan yah aku bosen. Ini karena menurutku ceritanya ga masuk akal. Menurutku ga mungkin dunia itu akan dibagi populasinya berdasarkan sifat individunya. Masa iya, orang-orang pemberani dan nekat dikumpulkan jadi satu dan tinggal bareng, orang penyabar dan pengalah jadi satu juga, orang cerdas dan logis juga gitu. That kind of system is not going to work. It doesn't make any sense. Dari ide ceritanya aja udah bikin keningku berlipat. Dan dari situ mind set ku langsung skeptis sama jalan ceritanya dan ternyata alurnya menurutku lambat dan ga menarik, akhirnya aku boseeeenn dan berhenti baca hahahh.

Ini reaksi yang sama waktu aku nonton film In Time, dimana people stop aging at the age 25 and living time is the currency. Katanya untuk mengatasi ledakan populasi. Well, that kind of system is not healthy. Bukan cuman ga sehat, tapi sakit. Ga mungkin sistem kaya gitu direalisasikan di kehidupan nyata. I can't put it into words but it just doesn't make any sense.

Menurutku, cerita distopian/science fiction yang masuk akal itu misalnya The Matrix (which is by the way awesome) atau Terminator (this one is epic) atau Avatar (well, mind blowing) misalnya. Itu baru masuk akal. Memang sihh, dulu aku juga sama skeptisnya sama The Hunger Games (di awal buku kan rakyat dibelenggu tirani dan ga ada yang ngelawan, which is ga masuk akal, karena menurutku suatu tirani pasti suatu saat akan jatuh. Ga mungkin ga. Tapi kan ternyata malah inti cerita The Hunger Games adalah jatuhnya tirani tersebut kan).

Berhubung reviewnya orang-orang bilang bagus semua, bagus banget malah katanya, well, I might give Divergent another try. But not anytime soon karena mau ada ujian profesi Oral Medicine ugghh.

3. Weekend ini The Dark Night Rises udah mulai diplay lhoo hihii. Semoga bisa nonton deh yahh. Aku suka banget sama film-filmnya Christopher Nolan (aku baru nonton Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Inception, dan Memento). Semua filmnya yang aku tonton menurutku gilak oke bangettt. Sakit emang si Chris Nolan ini keren banget kalo bikin film ihh!! Ini mau ga mau udah high expectation yahh semoga ga kecewa huhuuh.

Fifty Shades of Grey

I stated before that I missed Robert Pattinson. Well, still do! Hahaa silly. It all started since I read Fifty Shades of Grey. I knew nothing about the book before. Dan so far gaada yang merekomendasikan buat baca. Tapi aku bolak-balik liat Fifty Shades of Grey disebut-sebut di PopSugar, dan karena aku juga udah selesai baca The Night Circus, jadi baiklahhh mari kita baca.

1. It turned out I really like the book, since the very first page! Tokoh-tokohnya dan ceritanya sangat mengingatkanku sama Twilight Saga! Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele resemble Edward Cullen and Bella Swan sooo muchh! But maybe a lot more intense at some points, ahem. Tadinya aku malah berencana bikin tabel kemiripan antara Fifty Shades of Grey dan Twilght Saga. Tapi, setelah aku tamat baca buku pertama (ini trilogi gitu bukunya), aku langsung google for more informations (aku gamau google sebelom selesai baca karena takut ga sengaja baca spoiler), it turned out ternyata Fifty Shades of Grey is based on Twilight Saga. It even initially started out as fan fiction of The Twilight Saga. Pantesaaan mirip abis sama Twilight yaaa dan pantesaaan aku sukaa hahahahahahaha.

Tapi entah kenapa, aku agak sedikiiiiiit kecewa begitu tau kalo Fifty Shades of Grey ternyata emang terinspirasi dari Twilight. Yah tapi tetep aja aku semangat bacanya. Malah gabisa berenti baca sampe hampir jam tiga pagi. Itu aja terpaksa berhenti baca dan tidur karena besokannya ada ujian Radiologi. The last books that successfully kept me up all night reading are The Hunger Games trilogy. Yah walaupun ada sebagian dari Fifty Shades of Grey that I'd rather skim it than read it. You know, the explicit part. Ugh.

Sekarang lagi jalan baca buku keduanya nih, tapi aku mulai agak bosan karena jalan ceritanya mulai monoton menurutku. Semoga ga mengecewakan yaah sampe akhir buku ketiga karena aku terlanjur berharap banyak sama buku ini huhuu.

Dan akan segera dibuat versi film dari buku ini. Sebenernya aku merasa Robert Pattinson dan Kristen Stewart akan sangat amat cocok jadi Christian Grey dan Anastasia Steele. Tapi kok membayangkan Robert jadi Christian Grey and imagine him visualizing those explicit scenes, well, I don't think I'm gonna like it. And thank God, the author of the books E.L James recently stated there will be no Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Alhamdulilahh! Sedang banyak rumor siapa yang akan jadi Christian Grey dan Anastasia Steele. Mungkin aku akan mendukung Ian Somerhalder kali yah. Sedangkan untuk Anastasia Steele aku ga kepikir siapa yang cocok.

2. Nah tapi kan aku jadi terlanjur kangen kan yahh sama Robert Pattinson. Akhirnya aku memutuskan untuk nonton film-filmnya Robert selain yang Twilight. Aku dari dulu enggan nonton Robert diluar Twilight karenaaaaa... aku ga rela ngeliat Robert sama wanita lain hahahaha konyol yaaahh. Ngeliat Robert di film lain itu perasaannya sama kaya kalo liat Fernando Torres pindah klub ke Chelsea. Sakit hati. Hahaaha.

Aku nonton yang Bel Ami dan Remember Me. Maunya nonton yang Waters of Elephant juga, tapi ga dapet. Dan ternyata nonton Robert di film lain is not as bad as I thought it would be. Dua hal yang aku sadar begitu nonton Robert di film lain. Pertama, aktingnya Robert masih belom begitu bagus yaaa ternyataaaa haahaha. Kedua, udah ga bisa dipungkiri kalo Robert emang ganteng bangeeeeettt! Excruciatingly breathtakingly handsome! *lap iler* His voice is like the softest velvet.

Dan karena malem minggu kali ini nganggur, huhu, I spent the night searching every video of Robert I can find in the internet hahaa. Aku udah tau sihh, kalo sebenernya mukanya Robert itu kalo lagi off screen keliatan tengil banget gituu! Coba kalo doi ga pernah jadi Edward Cullen yang ekspresinya bisa caressing gitu, mungkin aku akan ga suka sama Robert hihii.

Tapi setelah ngeliat macem-macem video, aku jadi ngerasa kasian. Bayangin kemana-mana diikutin paparazzi! Ke bandara, jalan ke minimarket, ke butik, nonton konser, semuaaaaanya diiringi kilatan blitz. Aku mau ikutan kesel ke paparazzi, tapi nanti jadi gabisa liat foto dan kabar terbarunya Robert. Dilema huhu.

Ah, gotta go now.

Review: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

Aku akhirnya selesai juga baca buku iniii: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle karangan Haruki Murakami.

Aku pertama kali kepingin baca buku ini gara-gara rekomendasi dari orang yang booklist-nya oke punya dan katanya buku ini bagus banget. Aku langsung tertarik dong ya. Waktu liat nama pengarangnya, Haruki Murakami, entah kenapa aku mengira beliau ini orang Indonesia lho. Dan kepikir, "Wah, orang Indonesia nulis buku bahasa Inggris." Tapi begitu mulai baca, liat nama tokoh-tokohnya, nama setting tempatnya, ealahhh, orang Jepang toh hahahaa.

To be honest, this is the most (I can't find any other word to describe it) bizzare story I've ever read. Kalau disuruh bikin sinopsis ceritanya, aku ga akan bisa saking bingungnya. Kalau ditanyain bizzare gimana, aku juga ga akan bisa menjelaskan. Harus baca sendiri deh biar nangkep bizzare-nya dimananya. Misalnya nih, aku pikir ohh drama yah. Agak tengah, eh horor ya ini?? Ke tengah lagi, lho kok ada sejarah perang di Jepang yaa. Dan banyak sekali moments where I was like, "...... oh-kaayy". Atau, "Ini apa maksudnya yaaa..", atau juga "What the..??". Daaan, kalau disuruh menentukan genre cerita buku ini apa, aku pasti langsung garuk-garuk kepala. Bingung.

Aku juga sering kali mimpi buruk setelah baca bab-bab yang ada horornya itu. Horornya lebih serem dari pembunuhan di Sherlock Holmes (yang biasanya aku mimpi buruk abis baca Sherlock Holmes, hihi cupu). Tapi ini mimpi buruknya much worse daripada waktu baca Sherlock Holmes deh. Sampe kadang-kadang aku ga berani baca kalau lagi dikamar sendirian.

Yang membuatku bertahan baca sampai habis adalah aku penasaran banget-banget sama the ending of this very bizzare story. Apa maksud dari semua kejadian-kejadian ganjil didalam buku tersebut. Begitu selesai baca, aku langsung haaaaaaaaaaahhhh lega bangettt! Akhirnya terlepas juga dari buku iniiii hahahahaa. Eh tapi, setelah aku udah tau ending-nya gimana, entah kenapa aku pingin baca ulang lho. Yahh nanti deh kalo ada waktu lagi aku mau baca ulang ahh.

Mungkin emang selera sastraku juga masi level cerita bergambar kali yahh, jadinya otakku ga sanggup baca bacaan yang terlampau filosofis begini hihii. Dan sekarang aku lagi baca buku lain yang menarik! Ga sabar mau nyelesain baca :D

Who's The Fairest of Them All?

Yep. Aku abis nonton Snow White And The Huntsman. Now let me, lagi-lagi, komentar dikit hihi.

Filmnya sendiri menurutku boring dan datar. Gaada yang seru, sedih, lucu juga gaada. Plotnya lemah banget. Ditambah akting pemainnya yang juga kurang oke, kecuali Charlize Theron sih, yang bisa bikin aku ngeri tiap kali Queen Ravenna muncul.

Dibandingkan sama Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs punya Disney sih jauh banget yaa. SWATH ini menurutku bingung dengan script-nya sendiri, mau bikin Snow White versi baru atau ngikut versi klasik. Dulu waktu liat teaser poster dan character poster-nya (dimana Kristen Stewart pake armor gitu), aku membayangkan Snow White di SWATH ini akan tangguh kaya Mulan gitu. Eh gataunya tetep menye-menye kaya Snow White pada umumnya. Dan dari judulnya, aku juga mengira akan ada konflik seru antara Snow White dengan The Huntsman, tapi ternyata ga ada apa-apa deh. Hubungan mereka berdua tidak dieksplor lebih jauh, padahal bisa jadi emotional conflict yang oke sepertinya.

Kristen Stewart dimataku juga masih belum bisa lepas dari bayang-bayang Bella Swan. Satu film yang menurutku K.Stew bisa lepas dari Bella itu di film The Runaways. Padahal Kristen menurutku sangat cocok jadi Snow White. Skin white as the snow, lips red as blood, hair black as ebony. Belum lagi ditambah pipinya yang merona seperti buah persik, cantiiiiiiiiiik banget!! Ih, jadi inget waktu Kristen muncul di Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, dan banyak majalah tenar lainnya. Foto-foto K.Stew selalu jempolan. Persis boneka! Ups jadi ngelantur hihi. Oke back to topic. Chris Hemsworth juga masih dibayangi Thor deh menurutku. Apalagi disini The Huntsman-nya suka bawa-bawa kapak kemana-mana, mirip Thor yang suka bawa Mjolnir itu. Kalo Charlize Theron sih jangan ditanya. Paling pol lah dia disini.

Cerita Snow White sendiri kalo menurutku ga bisa lepas dari elemen-elemen khasnya yaitu magic mirror, apel beracun, glass coffin, dan tujuh kurcaci. Di SWATH sih cuman gaada glass coffin doang. Overall, bintang dua kali yahh hihiihi. Sangat disayangkan karena film ini punya potensi besar buat jadi film yang bagus. SWATH sangat tertolong sama special effects-nya, wardrobe-nya, (gaun-gaunnya Queen Ravenna are very breathtaking. And trust me, film yang tidak didukung dengan wardrobe yang berkualitas akan berakhir konyol. Coba aja liat The Three Musketeers), dan akting Charlize Theron sebagai the evil queen.

Ah, jadi berharap biar fairytales yang lain juga dibikin versi manusianya dong! Aku request Beauty And The Beast! :D

Leave Them Alone

Seriously? Oh, come on guys. You know, I've been holding this for a while, but it's reaaally getting on my nerves!

1. First thing. What is wrong with Twilight, Edward, Bella, Robert, or Kristen? If you guys don't like them, it's all right I don't care. Dikatain vampir gay, apalah, terserah deh. I am fully understand that Twilight is girlish, makanya aku juga akan heran kalo ada cowo yang suka sama Twilight. Tapi helloooowww kan banyak gitu yah film dan buku lain yang much mooore awful daripada Twilight, lah ini kenapa Twilight yang dijadiin bulan-bulanan. Ihh bete. Apalagi cowo-cowo kalo udah ngatain Edward, minta ampun yaaa. He's just a small fraction of girls's imagination. Besides he's just a fictional character for God sake. So why so insecure? Aku aja yang nontonin Transformers dan Harry Potter nyadar kalo Megan Fox dan Emma Watson itu cantik jelita but I don't end up throwing off offensive comments about them! Robert Pattinson salah apa sik dikatain muluu. Dan aku berani taruhan, sebagian besar orang yang ngatain Twilight itu bahkan belom baca bukunya. Idiiiiihhh baca dulu kaliiii baru komentar! Bikin emosi jiwa raga kan jadinya. Just leave them alone!

2, Second thing. It's Justin Bieber. Alright, alright I know he is really a girlish thing, big time. And he looks a lot like a girl. So I completely understand why people always say that he's not even a gay but a lesbian. But come on, guys. He sings easy listening songs, his voice is not so bad, he doesn't do drugs, he makes ay lot of freaking money, he even does charity. And he also dates Selena Gomez (which is a pretty hot chick if you ask me). So guys, just stop it. Stop making fun of him. Well, I know it's a hard thing to do but at least give it a try! He has done nothing wrong. Just leave the kid alone!

3. Third thing. Fernando Torres. Yeah yeah I know. He left Liverpool he's such a lousy traitor. All this never-score-a-goal thing is kinda served him right, and go ahead, you can mock him all you want. But come on, guys. Don't you think he'd had enough already? Give him a break. Leave him alone!

Oh, well. Am I having a PMS or whaaat? Hahaha. Ah, it's 3 in the morning. Happy birthday to me, I guess.

In Between The Hunger Games And Some Other Things

So. I caaaaaaaaan't help myself to write again hahaha. Of course. Very much predictable, indeed. Either it’s because I can’t not writing about The Hunger Games, or it’s just simply because I miss writing *shrugs*. To pour out what’s in my thick skull because somehow it soothes me, gives me time to rearrange scatterred things inside.

It The Hunger Games that ignited me. I already heard about the book since last year. But, nope, I didn't exactly have the time to spare to read it. But then koh arman organized this little quiz on his blog, winner get the book as a prize. He gave a very positive review for the book and he also reminded me that a movie based on the book is going to be released on March 23. So I was all itching to read it asap. I don’t want the movie to get ahead of the book to tell me the whole tale. But of course all this exams and assigments and requirements of patients to deal with were increasing in a worrying amount, gahhh. So The Hunger Games was left untouched.

What really urged me to eventually read the book in between threatening exams and taking care of the patients is when I googled about the upcoming movie and I found out that Josh Hutcherson is gonna play Peeta Mellark. This tiny information that did it. Cetek amat yaaa alasannya ternyataa hahahaaa.

My first impression upon the first pages of the book is that it’s beyond my imagination. I mean when I read some fictional books I usually imagine about how cool it would’ve been if it’s all real. Like Twilight hahaa. Or even Harry Potter. That somewhere in this planet there’s really a sparkling dazzling vampire or a magnificent old Hogwarts hidden (sering kebayang seandainya bisa, mau deh ngambil S2 di Hogwarts). But The Hunger Games is something else entirely.

It’s not about the futuristic settings that I found hard to comprehend. It’s that I just can’t imagine that there will be a time where people all over the world are shut in a poverty, hunger, violence, and forced to watch their children kill each other as an entertainment purposes. And noone even bothered to lift a finger against it. It doesn’t make any sense. Ga masuk akal. Kalau sampai ada jaman dimana ada orang dibunuh didepan publik dan gaada yang protes, berarti kayanya dikit lagi kiamat deh. But of course as more pages went on, it’s evident that Suzanne Collins won’t dissappoint the readers.

I don’t wannabe a spoiler. All I can say is the plot is a lot more intricate than I’d ever had estimated and that The Hunger Games is completely different than the stuffs I usually read (I'm referring to Miiko here hahahaa and The Hunger Games is about war). Well, it sometimes reminds me of Musashi, maybe because of the violence in them. The good thing is it has Peeta Mellark. You know, the lovey dovey type of guy I usually fall for. Without Peeta Mellark, I think The Hunger Games would’ve been all so much about tragical tragedy and hatred.

On the lighter note. Cape yah inggrisan hihi, mana belepotan lagi. Gapapa dong yang penting ngerti kan bacanyaaa hahaahaha. Sekarang pake bahasa ibu dulu.  Josh Hutcherson. Udah mulai suka dari jaman pertama kali liat di Little Manhattan. Terus gedean liat lagi di Journey To The Center of The Earth. Kebayang dia sebagai Peeta Mellark makin lahh berlipat gantengnya. Edward? Edward who? Hahaha ga deng, tetep lah cinta sama Edward. Mana sini yang berani ngatain yayang Edward!

Dan yang lagi jadi songs on replay diantaranya ada Safe And Sound-nya Taylor Swift (ost-nya The Hunger Games), video klipnya lagu ini si Taylor cakep banget persis barbie, walaupun aku lebih suka music video yang ada alur ceritanya, bukan yang sepanjang video cuman jalan-jalan tebar pesona gitu. Kalo video lagi suka Ours-nya Taylor Swift, lagi-lagi hehe. Ada ceritanya walaupun sederhana banget, terus cowonya juga unyu, bolak-balik diplay lagi kan jadinya. 

Terus ada juga A Thousand Years-nya Christina Perri. Entah kenapa ga rela deh lagu ini dijadiin soundtracknya Breaking Dawn part 1 (apa gara-gara menurutku filmnya jelek banget kali yahh). Lebih cocok dijadiin soundtracknya The Hunger Games hahahahaa mentang-mentang lagi mabok The Hunger Games nih. Video klipnya juga jeleeekk. Maksa banget itu potongan-potongan scene dari Breaking Dawn dimasukin kesitu. Jelas-jelas banget keliatan kalo beda lokasi, beda theme, beda deh, ga nyambung. Mending gausah dimasukin sekalian potongan-potongan scene-nya.

Ih betewe aku usil banget yah, komentaaaar aja! Pedahal kan suka-suka sutradaranya ya mau bikin video kaya apa, kenapa akunya yang repot hahaaha. Namanya juga mulut cewe, calon mulut ibu-ibu kompleks kan, semuaaaaaa dikomentarin hahahaa.

PS: barusan liat trailernya The Hunger Games. Kok agak kurang gimana gitu yaa. Yah kalo gitu let's set the expectation low, just in case.

Harry Potter? Never Gets Old

I love Harry Potter! Well, who doesn't?

1. I have three favorite charms. The first one, is the Patronus Charm. It's just cool how you cast out dementors (whom I think represents grief and sorrow) with your happy memories. My second favorite charm is Disarming Charm. It's simply because it's Harry's favorite, and Snape taught, unintentionally, it to him. And Harry used it to defeat Voldemort. Oh-some! And the third charm is the Summoning Charm. I'd reaaaaally love to master this charm. I believe it'd come in handy. Because, you know, I keep forgetting where I put things and if only I could master this charm all I have to do is Accio this or Accio that, and tada, here they are!

2. I haaaaaate Bellatrix Lestrange. But I can't deny that I love how Helena Bonham Carter portrayed her. I think she's the most convincing incarnation of the characters.

3. The place I wanna visit? Hogwarts, of course! What else? Hahaa. Or maybe Honeydukes will do the trick.

4. The food/drink I wanna taste? Butterbeer!

5. The character I hate the most: Rita Skeeter. Ugh God, I can't stand her.

You're, Still, Irreplaceable

Hey yall! Karena abis lebaran, minal aidin wal faidzin mohon maaf lahir batin yaahh hehe.

Kali ini tema postingannya curhat. Boleh dong yah, blog aku ini hahaah. Didunia ini, cowok terbagi dua. Itu versiku sik hahaa. 

Yang pertama cowok romantik. Ciri-cirinya gampang dikenalin. Suka berkata-kata manis. Kalo belom jadian dan masi pedekate, suka ngomong kalimat-kalimat yang nyerempet. Misalnya nih, "Hati aku ga tenang nih malem ini. Soalnya aku ga denger suara kamu." Prikitiw dah. Ih gilak ye, manis dibibir memutar kata banget hahaha. Kalo udah jadian, udah deh mulai diobral-lah itu kata-kata I love you I miss you I need you. Dan jangan salah, romantiknya ga sebatas kata-kata doang! Tapi ke tindakan juga doong. Masa bisanya ngomong doang. Harga diri, jendral! Ada yang suka ngasi kejutan, ngasi hadiah, ngirim voice note isinya nyaynyiin lagu, yah gitu lahh yang so sweet gitu.

Nah di point ini kita mulai menginjak dimana pepatah romantis dan norak itu bedanya tipis itu benar adanya. Dan setelah melalui observasi dan telaah yang mendalam, aku baru bisa menyimpulkan dimana letak perbedaannya. Beda romantis sama norak itu ada di orang yang melakukan. Ini semacem contoh penerapan Teori Relativitas Einstein gitu dehh *berusaha terlihat ilmiah*. Coba deh dibayangin. Kalo ada cowok ngeselin, tukang ngupil, sering kentut sembarangan, suka sama satu cewek. Terus dia dalam usahanya mendapatkan hati cewek tersebut, dia rela dateng jam 12 malem pas hari ulang taun si cewek, bawa bunga dan pengamen segambreng buat nyanyiin lagu happy birthday. Reaksi si cewek tersebut bisa dipastikan akan mengira dia sedang mimpi buruk dan cowok tersebut langsunglah dicap norak. Kasian ya haha. Bedaaaa kalo yang melakukan aksi kejutan tadi adalah seorang vokalis band populer yang mukanya mirip Hugh Dancy. Pasti si cewek langsung rontok hatinya dan merasa cowok itu adalah cowok paling romantis didunia dan besokannya si cewek cerita pamer ke semua teman-temannya.

Ihhh cewek tuh main fisik banget sik, materialistis lagi! Pasti gitu deh pemikiran cowok yang baca. Eits, jangan salah brader. Romantik apa enggga emang tergantung gimana si cewek liat si cowoknya. Asal si cewek suka sama si cowok tersebut, mau cowoknya tompelan kek teteeep aja bakalan keliatan paling ganteng dan tiap tindakannya berasa paling romantik di seluruh dunia! Kalo ternyata cewek lo sukanya sama cowok ganteng kantong tebel (dan lo ga ganteng dan kantong ga tebel) itu sih derita lo, kenapa suka sama cewek begitu hahahaha.

Nah ada satu lagi ciri cowok romantik. Mereka suka nanya pertanyaan yang memancing. Misalnya nih, "Aku kangen banget nih sama kamu. Boleh ga nanti kalo ketemu, aku meluk kamu?" Kalopun si cewek pingin meluk juga, kan ga mungkin ceweknya bilang iyaaa! Malu nyet hahaa. Eh tapi tergantung ceweknya juga, deng. Mungkin ada juga yang jawab malu-malu, "Iya, boleh kok." Kalo aku? GA BAKAL aku jawab bahahahahahaa. Jangan harap ye hahaa.

Aku sik lebih suka cowok yang ga usah nanya-nanya mancing najong gitu. Langsung aja sikat. Perkara tar ternyata ceweknya gamau dan bukannya balas dipeluk tapi malah digampar, ya itu resiko dong yahh hahahahaa.

Ah bosen ngebahas cowok romantik *aslinya udah abis bahan*, yuk mari kita membahas cowok tipe kedua. Yaitu cowok cuek.

Nah ini nih baru tipekuuuu awww. Cowok yang ga banyak ngomong, agak galak, ga suka dandan gituu. Makin cuek malah makin bikin gemeessh. Keliatannya ga merhatiin, tapi ternyata tau kalo kita belom makan. Omongannya pedes, galak, tapi selalu ngegandeng kita kalo nyebrang jalan dan dengan protektif melototin mas-mas yang ngegodain kita. Ihhh unyu bangeettt hihii. Tapiii suka sama orang kaya gini harus siap makan ati. Ya namanya aja cuek, bales bbm sms ym skype telpon juga pasti cuek dong yah. Tapi ada juga cowok yang sok cuek dan ada juga yang cueknya berlebihan. Kalo ini siap-siap aja buat nangis-nangis bombay tiap malem hahahaha. Soalnya, I'll tell you what, cowok cuek can be such an ass if he wants to.

Sekarang ayo tinggal dipilih nih, maunya sama romantik apa cuek. 

Ada nih romantik maksa.

E: Hari ini aku seneng banget bisa bbm an sama kamu.

A: Hahaha alhamdulilah, bagus-bagus deh kalo kamu seneng.

E: Kamu seneng juga ga?

A: Seneng.

E: Senengnya kenapa nih?

A: Seneng aja.

E: Aahhh pokonya jawab senengnya kenapa nihh.

A: *setelah dipaksa-paksa* seneng bbm an sama kamu deh.

Gila maksa abis ye tu orang. Aku bisa ngomong apa coba? Huhu. Lalu ada juga yang norak. Eh tapi ada lo norak yang menghibur!

K: Gue jet lag nih, Non.

A: Hah? Abis darimana lo emang?

K: Abis dari hati lo, mencari tempat yang kosong. Tapi kayanya udah penuh semua.

A: *ketawa* Geblek lo dasar!

Atau di lain kesempatan,

K: Gue mandi dulu ye, Non!

A: Mandi aja sik.

K: Eh tapi gue lagi dikos temen gue nih, masi ngantri kamar mandinya. Kaya mau ngedapetin elo Non, harus ngantri dulu.

A: *ketawa* Sableng ni anak hahaa!

Now that was hilarious! Hahahaa. Norak yang sama sekali ga bikin geli.

Ga penting yah postingan aku kali ini? Ah masa sih ga penting?? Penting lah yaaa hahaha. Kasian deh yang nekat baca sampe abis hahahahahahaa.

The Thought of The Skeptical Me

I think Boyce Venue is the male version of Sabrina. I like this song but that little lyric change is a bit rubbish. He changed the line "let's go all the way tonight, no regrets just love" into "let's talk all through the night, there's no need to rush". That is impossible. You see, I think there's no man will reject physical flirt. Ever. I know a quite number of men (the a-hole type, the sweet and cute type, the ordinary type) and none of them will ever resist that kind of temptation. Seperti kata seorang temanku dulu, "Cowok itu kalo dikasi cewek kaya kucing dikasi ikan asin. Ga bakalan nolak!". Gitu katanya. Well, I think that's pretty normal tho.

But it's actually rather sad, you know, knowing that all those nice-and-love-us-just-the-way-we-are guys are only exist in the movie. Okay I guess this is the skeptical me talking :P Maybe I just never met that nice guy.

In The Middle of A Long Lasting Drizzle

Well, hello there March!

Sebenernya aku gaada cerita apa-apa buat ditulis, cuman karena lagi masuk bulan baru aja makanya pingin nulis postingan baru hehee. Nah ngomongin tumblr aja deh yah.

So, earlier today I found out that a few friends of mine had made themselves a blog at tumblr. I have one, too. I mean a blog at tumblr, duhh. But people, I chose not to use it. Why? Good question. Well, because:

I think tumblr is, in general, pretty much a blog, is it not? Conventional blogs are used to filled with journals, daily stories, thoughts, articles, well they're basically filled with texts. But when I went tumblr-walking, I realized that most people filled their tumblr pages with photos and quotes and sketches, or reposted photos and quotes and sketches. And nothing is wrong with that.

I, on the other hand, don't have any gadget qualifies as a proper camera because I guess camera-phone doesn't count. And I don't write quotes, either. And I obviously don't do sketches, my sense of art is practically dull hahahaa. So, I left my tumblr empty. You know, because I don't want to merely repost someone else's photos or quotes or sketches. What's the point in that, seriously. Tho I can't deny that the photos and sketches on tumblr are awfully breathtaking.

If one day I have the chance to have my own camera, maybe I'll start using my tumblr. Fill it with my own photos. Or maybe fill it up with my self-made quotes (or maybe not, orang ngasi judul postingan aja harus bertapa dulu, gimana mau bikin quote hahahaha).

And just like I said, there's absolutely nothing wrong with reposting. I sometimes repost. But for specifically me, filling up my own blog with myself is much much more preferable. Hahaha narsis abis ye. Gapapa dong, blog aku ini hihihi. So, keep on tumblr-ing, people!! Oyasuminasai!

PS: I like quotes but I hate kata-kata mutiara. Emang beda? Buat saya beda. Bedanya apa sodara-sodara? Kata-kata mutiara bersifat menasehati, sotoy dan ngeselinnya bener. Quotes sih arti harafiahnya kutipan ya. Dan kutipan ga selalu nasehat isinya. Gituu. Yah, I know. PS yang ga penting hahahaha.

PS 2: Gyaaaaahh ini udah jam 12.01!! Udah ga tanggal 1 dong yahh. Aku mundurin aja deh waktu publishnya hehehee.
